Things to do around the area.
So if you have significant other traveling along, here are some things to do (other then adoringly watch you roll dice ; - ).
If your coming in early on Friday you might want to check out Old Sacramento. Has an old west feel. Nice Places to eat by the river (Rio City Café). Lots of Candy and an Amazing 3 story costume store (Halloween is coming ) called Evangelines: www.evangelines.com
Down town Davis is a nice place to hang out too, feel free to ask me for specific restaurant recommendations. We will be out an about that night. Also see the arboretum trail below if your there during the day.
On Saturday morning there is a giant farmers Market couple blocks from the Venue.

We are very close to UC Davis, and they have a lovely arboretum path for walking and looking for ducks, turtles, occasional river otter and you can see one of my bridges under construction haha.

Saturday Night 7 PM, we are gathering at De’veers Irish pub where I have a buffet setup, $15 a person. Most people attend this (Haikou contest and team challenge and is awarded) and significant others are more then welcome!
